Multi-Engine Rating
The Multi-Engine Rating allows pilots to operate aircraft with more than one engine and is an important step for those pursuing advanced flying or a professional aviation career.
- Training focuses on multi-engine aircraft systems, performance, and handling characteristics, as well as managing engine-out procedures safely and confidently.
- No minimum flight time requirement (however you can expect to need 10 to 15 hours in the multi engine airplane before receiving endorsements from an instructor)
- No requirement for a knowledge test (when the multi engine rating is conducted as an add-on)
