Signing Up for Training

Please call our office or email us to set up your first appointment. We also recommend scheduling a discovery flight if you have not yet experienced flying for yourself. At your first appointment, you can expect to spend an hour on the necessary forms to complete the sign-up process. If you do not currently possess a Medical and/or Student Pilot Certificate, your instructor will help you take care of this requirement.

Please bring the following items to your first appointment:

  • Proof of U.S. citizenship (U.S. Valid Passport, Original Birth Bertificate, Naturalization Certificate, etc.)
  • Current Government-Issued Photo ID
  • Current FAA Certificates, if applicable (Pilot and/or Medical Certificates)

If you are a non-US Citizen, you must be certified by the TSA prior to the start of your training known as the Flight Training Security Program (FTSP). Please call our office to let us know that you intend to train with us, and then click here for guidance on completing the TSA process.

Scheduling

Scheduling your lessons is made simple through the use of Flight Schedule Pro. After completing the student registration process, you will have access to this system.

With this system, there is no need to call ahead to schedule.

Simply go online at your convenience and schedule up to 10 lessons in advance with the aircraft, instructor, and time of your choice. You and your instructor will receive notifications of any new reservations and changes to the schedule.

Want to complete your training program in less than our forecasted times? We can work with your schedule and ours to help you fast track your training with a more intensive flying schedule. Please give us a call if you have any special scheduling requests.

Variables in Training Costs

The costs of each training program are estimates only. We do not require any up-front payments. We operate in a pay-as-you-go method, with payment collected following the end of each lesson. The length of each lesson varies, and you will be charged based on the amount of time in training. Prices may be found here. We accept all Credit/Debit Cards, Cash and Checks.

Costs vary from student to student. If you fly often, you will retain your knowledge and skills better than if you fly once a week or less. There is also significant studying required to be successful. If you study often and come prepared for each lesson, you will spend much less money and acquire your certifications much quicker.

We understand that learning to fly is often a costly endeavor. While we do not offer financing or scholarships in-house, there are many resources available to help. Click here to view these financial resources.
